
Our Leadership

Scott founded Kentuckiana Pool Management in 1997 in partnership with The Pool Management Group leadership team. Scott is a native Louisvillian and a graduate of Trinity High School and The University of Louisville where he was a four year letterman in swimming and set numerous school records.
He was formerly Head Swim Coach of Lakeside Swim Team, Blairwood Swim Team and Sacred Heart Academy. While coaching Scott was nominated twice for Coach of the Year by the American Swim Coaches Association and twice won Kentucky Coach of the Year and High School Coach of the Year. Scott is a Certified Pool Operator and has extensive experience in pool management and the swimming pool industry.
About Our Team

Kentuckiana Pool Management provides pool management, lifeguard staffing services and pool maintenance services across Greater Louisville.
We operate in the following areas: Oldham County, Prospect, Middletown, South Louisville, East End, Jeffersontown, Mount Washington, University of Louisville and surrounding areas.

Frank Zebich has been with Kentuckiana Pool Management Since 1998. He started as a Pool Manager and worked his way up to Director of Pool Operations. Frank graduated from Eastern High School (1996) and the University of Louisville (2000). At Eastern High School Frank lettered in football and track and in football at the University of Louisville. Frank has a Bachelors Degree in Sports Administration with a Minor in Marketing. Currently, Frank is a Certified Pool Operator (CPO) and a Louisville Metro Lifeguard with certifications in Lifeguarding, First Aid and CPR.

J. C. started with Kentuckiana Pool Management in 2004. He is also a native Louisvillian and a graduate of Westport High School, Pasadena City College and California State University at Northridge. He was previously the Director of Aquatics at the Jewish Community Center. He has been a head coach at Notre Dame High School in Sherman Oaks, CA and Ballard High School in Louisville. He currently is Head Swim Coach for DuPont Manual High school. J.C. has been a leader in Aquatic Safety in the Louisville area for the last 20 years. He is an American Red Cross Lifeguard Instructor, an American Red Cross Instructor Trainer, a Metro Louisville Health Department Lifeguard Trainer and a Certified Pool Operator.

Cavan joined Kentuckiana Pool Management in 2010 as a lifeguard and has worked his way up to Director of Personnel. He graduated from Ballard High School is 2012 where he swam and played baseball. He then graduated from Western Kentucky University in 2016 with a major in Sports Management and a minor in Facility and Event Management. He is a Certified Pool Operator and is a certified American Red Cross Lifeguard.
Maddie joined Kentuckiana Pool Management in 2019 as a supervisor and quickly moved up as their Human Resource Director in 2020. Maddie graduated from Ballard High School in 2017. At Ballard High School she lettered in swimming and choir. Maddie is a certified lifeguard instructor, swim instructor and has certifications in lifeguarding, first aid and CPR from Red Cross. Maddie has also become a mother to Sophia Rose in 2021.
Our Safety Advisors
As part of The Pool Management Group network, our customers and employees receive the expertise of our internationally renowned Safety Advisors, Dr. Tom Griffiths and the team at Aquatic Safety Research Group. Their expertise is instilled throughout our risk reduction techniques and lifeguard training.
Dr. Griffiths was inducted into the International Swimming Hall of Fame and is a Paragon Safety Award winner for his water safety efforts. He has been awarded the National Recreation and Park Association Distinguished Aquatic Service Award for a lifetime achievement and designated a European Lifeguard Academy Friend of the Academy for significant contributions to preventive Lifeguarding. Dr. Griffiths has also been named to “Who’s Who in Aquatics- The Top 100”, and “Power 25- Top 25 most powerful aquatics professionals in the World”, by Aquatics International Magazine.
Dr. Griffiths has authored more than 300 papers that have been published in scientific, professional and popular journals. He is an external reviewer for the American Red Cross Swimming and Diving publications.

In fact, the employees at headquarters don't run any pools directly. Instead, they're solely dedicated to assisting the various locations in our family of companies.
